| This plating company suffered a catastrophic fire that destroyed 50% of its manufacturing capacity. In addition, numerous agencies including the California Department of Fish & Game, Orange County Health Care Agency, Department of Toxic Substances Control, and local fire department hazardous materials units were involved in the project. The client retained litigation counsel to advise on past real estate transaction matters and environmental counsel to deal with pending regulatory enforcement actions. TRG was able to work with the owner and both counsels to establish a business framework and approach to environmental issues that allowed the owner to focus on the cash flow of his business, avoid bankruptcy, and satisfy the demands of the multiple agencies. | ||
